What Is Conjunto Music? - you're about to find out.
Conjunto music is a traditional Mexican-American musical style that originated in the 1930s. It is characterized by the use of accordion, bajo sexto (a 12-string guitar), Bass, and drums. The music is typically played at social gatherings, weddings, and other celebrations. Orginally from Texas, Conjunto music has since spread to other parts of the United States, particularly in areas with large Mexican-American populations. The music is known for its lively rhythms and catchy melodies, and it continues to be a popular genre among Mexican-American communities today.
